Is Northern Diamonds certified?
Yes, we are GIA Graduates. We prefer to source Natural Diamonds that are GIA Certified (The Gemological Institute of America) and Cultured Diamonds that are certified by IGI (International Gemological Institute).
Will I get a Diamond Report with my purchase?
For Bespoke orders with an individual diamond over 0.50ct, you will receive the diamond report for either GIA or IGI, depending on the diamond itself.
All of our diamonds are sourced ethically and graded by the world’s best grading entities.
If you wish to have a Diamond Report included for pieces under 0.50ct we can get the piece graded for a small fee of $110.
Why do you have both GIA & IGI Diamond Grading Reports?
Our Natural Diamonds are GIA certified which is the most renowned and respected diamond grading entity in the world. They are consistent, detailed and provide reassurance.
For our Culture Diamonds, we use IGI, as they specialise in the grading of Cultured Diamonds.
Do you offer in-person consults?
Yes, we offer in-person consults for custom orders and engagement rings to discuss the finer details and view different styles and diamonds in person.
How long will I have to wait to receive my order?
Each piece is hand crafted to order - please allow up to 6 weeks to receive your order(s). Perfection is worth the wait.
Can you send me additional images of the diamond and diamond sizing?
Yes, if we have the diamond size or cut in stock we can send you more images to show it's true size &/or cut through everyday photos. If not, we can provide live videos of the diamond.
What Gold is used?
We offer 14K & 18K solid Yellow Gold, White Gold and Rose Gold as well as Platinum. We believe in offering only the highest quality, so do not offer gold filled or gold plating.
Can I wear my diamond/jewellery in the shower?
Our jewellery is designed to be worn daily however we always suggest taking great care of each item. Removing them whilst showering or swimming is recommended.
Can you help me keep the purchase a surprise?
Yes, all our deliveries come packed discreetly so that no surprise is ruined.
